Lac Long & Lac Morissette Association
Réseau de surveillance volontaire des lacs (RSVL)
In 2024, APELL joined the RSVL. This program, run by the Québec Environment Ministry, aims to monitor the
health of recreational lakes and measure the state of eutrophication. Lac Long will be sampled in June , July and August to test levels of:
- Phosphorus
- Phlorophyll A
- Dissolved organic carbon
- Chlorides
More frequent water transparency measurements will also be taken. These data will provide more
information on the health of Lac Long.
